Bibiani GoldStars defender Evans Owusu has recounted how tough a customer Great Olympics was when the pair went head-to-head in match week 25 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The away team got their noses in front through their top marksman Maxwell Abbey Quaye in the 22-minute, his 9th of the season before Bibiani GoldStars duo Yahaya Adraman and Prince Opoku Agyemang found the back of the net to overturn the scoreline.

In an interview with Saharafootball.net following his side’s victory, Evans Owusu, speaks about how they didn’t give up even when it seem difficult.

“It wasn’t an easy game, our opponents(Great Olympics) gave us a tough test, after we went down in the first few minutes, we didn’t give up as we regrouped to come back stronger because our position in the league is not good” he ended.

The full-back has been involved in 8 league appearances for the club since making the move from Liberty Professionals who got relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season.

Bibiani GoldStars are currently 12th place on the log and will welcome Eleven Wonders to the Duns park next weekend.
