Granada FC sign Mubarak Alhassan from Liberty Professionals

Spanish based club Granada  FC, have signed one of Ghana Premier League’s hottest prospect, Mubarak Alhassan from Dansoman based, Liberty Professionals for an undisclosed fee.

The Spanish side concluded terms to sign the young lad from Liberty Professionals in a deal worth five years.

In a recent interview with CitiSports to shed more light on his imminent transfer to Spain, the exciting midfield gem couldn’t hide his excitement about his new move.

“This is the best moment in my career to make this move because everyone wants an opportunity like this,

“At an early age, I have always wanted to play for clubs in Spain because I see myself as an [Andres] Iniesta type of player and I was given that name too so I think it’s the best place for me to develop as at now,” Mubarak Alhassan ended.

It’s no surprise that Granada have decided to sign the tireless midfielder, who managed an impressive five goals and five assists to his credit in 12 league outings prior to the league’s cancelation in view of the outbreak of the novel pandemic, Covid-19.

Alhassan will join his new teammates once President Akufo Addo gives the directive for the borders of the country to be opened for travel.

Liberty Professionals were once famed for shipping young Ghanaian players out some seasons ago, the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Derek Boateng and others are all products from the Scientific Soccer Lads.
