Dreams FC got their first win of the season with a slim win over Nations FC at Dawu Park.

The hosts had their weekend game rescheduled as a result of their involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup game against Sierra Leone side, Kallon FC.

The host started the game on the front foot, they made a host of incursions around the Nations FC goal Ebenezer Adade’s early goal was enough for the host to pick all three points at home.

Nations FC almost leveled but Nafiu’s effort was flagged offside but that didn’t deter them from searching for the equalizer, Barima Baah called Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi to action who dealt with the danger superbly.

The hosts held on to protect their solitary lead from the first half to bag all three points on the day.

In the other week’s one game, defending champions, Medeama SC rued their misses as they shared the spoils with Accra Lions in a four-goal thriller at the Akoon Park.

Ali Mohammed restored the visitor’s lead with ten minutes to end proceedings but the resilience of the hosts paid off evergreen, Jonathan Sowah banged in the equalizer to leave the game tied,
