GPL Week 33 Review: Olympics humiliate Hearts, Kotoko thrash Sharks in Kumasi

Ghana Premier League champions-elect, Kotoko celebrated their 26th title of the Ghana Premier League in a grand style as they smashed relegated Elmina Sharks by 3-0 to the excitement of fans present at the Baba Yara Stadium for the coronation game.



Hearts of Oak were smashed for good in the Mantse derby against old foes Great Olympics by a 3 goals margin, their 3rd consecutive loss in less than 2 weeks in the league. 

In other games, Medeama SC, and AshGold all came from a goal down to bask important victories to complement their status in the league, with WAFA SC and RTU breathed life into their relegation dog fight positing 1-0 victories over their weekend opponents Eleven Wonders and King Faisal respectively.
