King Faisal were dealt a serious blow to their title hopes as Karela United pulled off a gallant display to beat them 2-0 nil courtesy of two goals from Umar Bashiru, the club’s leading top marksman in the absence of Diawusie Taylor, who joined Future FC in Egypt in the summer.

Accra Hearts of Oak, AshGold returned back to winning ways as they thumped Eleven Wonders and Elmina Sharks respectively in a high scoring fixture in week 13 of the ongoing league.

In other games, Kotoko’s fantastic winning streak of four matches were put to a halt at the Golden City park by Berekum Chelsea whiles Aduana Stars could only manage a draw against debutants, Accra Lions at the Nana Agyemang Badu II park.
