In the top of the table clash between, Kotoko and Medeama, the former returned from their dwindling patch of form as they secured a momentous victory away at the Akoon park, their first victory in 5 years at the venue whiles Berekum Chelsea bit relegation doomed Elmina Sharks where it hurt the most by 3 goals at the Golden City Park.

In other games, Aduana Stars, RTU, Legon Cities, WAFA SC, and King Faisal failed to make the best of their home superiority on the day as they picked a point each in their respective matches.
