GPL Matchweek 30 Review: Medeama shock Olympics, Kotoko lose at home

Kotoko’s purple match run of form continued as they lost at home to Berekum Chelsea through a Kelvin Obeng goal, their 3rd loss in 6 games.

Medeama SC kept their title hopes alive as they leapfrog Bechem United, who drew at home to Legon Cities into 2nd place with a massive away against Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Elsewhere, Ignatius Osei Fosu is still winless in 3 games for his new side, Dreams FC as they failed to pick maximum points against relegation-threatened WAFA SC at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

Despite, their demotion to Division Two, AshGold made sure to appease their irate fans with a big win over Elmina Sharks as Yaw Annor, Mohammed Ali, and David Afriyie all got goals at the end of day.
