A last gasp Bright Adjei goal was enough to help his side cancel out a thunderous strike from Frank Mbella, who bagged his 19th goal of the season as both sides settled for a draw at the Baba Yara Stadium seeing their lead at the summit of the table cut to 9 points whiles second-placed side Bechem United managed to share the spoils with defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak.

In the relegation battle between Elmina Sharks and WAFA SC, both teams played out an entertaining game to pick a valuable point to breathe life into their ailing campaign.

In other games, Medeama, Bibiani GoldStars, and Eleven Wonders made sure their home superiority counted on the day as they picked all the 3 points against AshGold, King Faisal Karela United respectively.
