Bibiani GoldStars compounded the misery of former champions Kotoko as they ran off victors in week two of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at Duns Park.

Having lost their first game of the season to Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park, coach Michael Osei effected some changes to his side which had the likes off Adraman Yahaya, Alex Aso,Steph Banahene, Michael Appiah and Enu  featuring against Kotoko.

Meanwhile, coach Prosper Ogum Narteh’s second coming has not yielded the fairytale run, they expected as they drew goalless at home to returnees, Hearts of Lion in the opening day fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The two sides went at each other in the first half of the game with several opportunities failing to end at the back of the net.

The second half resumed with so much intensity, with the host probing for the first goal of the day, it wasn’t until forward Prince Owusu Kwabena broke the virginity of the game in the 66th minute to rally ruptures cheers from the teeming home supporters.

Four minutes later, Sherriff Mohammed struck the equalizer for the Porcupine Warriors which silenced the rousing cheers and jesters ongoing at Duns Park but that didn’t deter, Eric Bosomtwi from restoring the host’s lead in the 74th minute.
