Tarkwa based Medeama SC ensured their home dominance counted when they pulled clear off rivals Aduana Stars at the Akoon Park on Saturday in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The duo were coming into his fixture with lots of history and expectations riding on top of it.

The home side were the first to get on the score sheet through Isaac Agyenim Boateng in the 15th minute, it wasn’t until eleven minutes later that the visitors pulled parity through Bright Adjei ending the first half in a goal each for the sides.

The home side under the tutelage of Samuel Boadu probe for the second goal but that will eventually come eighteen minutes to end proceedings through Isaac Agyenim Boateng again, bagging a sensational brace for himself and the second for the Mauve and Yellow side, who held on to pin their first home win on the back of three successive draws (Olympics, Liberty, Kotoko).

The away side will rue their misses and get back to the drawing board following their inability to knick a point away, this lose marks their second of the campaign pushing them down to 9th with 10 points whiles the home side are up to 7th momentarily awaiting other results on Sunday.
