    GPL Match Report: Great Olympics silence Kotoko

    Asante Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics honored their rescheduled week three outstanding fixture this afternoon, December 17, 2020, at the Accra Sports Stadium.



    The home side were looking to improve on their prior win against Legon Cities over the week, which they won through an Ibrahim Osman solitary goal.

    The Dade boys, on the other hand, lost to their regional foes, Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf, with that loss fresh in the minds of Coach Walker and his boys, they through everything at this afternoon’s encounter.

    The first half saw both teams prove their mettle but it ended in a bore goalless draw.

    A Michael Yeboah in the 53rd minute of proceedings proved the masterstroke as scored Olympics clinched a 1-0 victory over the Kumasi “Galacticos” at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    This is the first time in 26 years that Olympics have beaten Kotoko away from home.

    Olympics are up to fifth position whiles Kotoko slip to 11th.
