GPL Match Report: Great Olympics cut King Faisal to size

Accra Great Olympics brought King Faisal back to planet earth when they dispatched them by 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The pair came into this duel on the back of recording impressive wins in match week 11 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The home side beat their fiercest rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium whiles King Faisal recovered from an early rush of goals to post a 4-3 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.

The home side started the early exchanges on the front foot and it was no surprise they got their noses in front through Charles Danso to end the first half on top.

After the recess, the home side were 2-0 up through Samuel Ashie-Quaye in the 55th minute before Kwadwo Frimpong pulled one back for the away side. .
It wasn’t until the 81st when the Dade boys restored their two-goal cushion courtesy of Michael Yeboah.

Great Olympics are up 2nd on the log with 21 points, whiles King Faisal are a position above the relegation zone. .
