GPL Match Report: Bechem smash Eleven Wonders

Bechem United recovered from an early Samuel Boakye goal to smash local folks, Eleven Wonders, by 3-1 at the Nana Fosu Gyeambour park in week 11 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.



The home side were looking to move past their loss at the hands of Elmina Sharks a fortnight ago at the Ndoum Stadium, with that loss fresh in mind, they didn’t disappoint when they regroup properly after going down in the first half to score 3 goals in the second half.

Boakye Owusu equalized for the home side in the second half through a penalty before goals from Hafiz Kokoni (84th) and Listowel Amankona (89th) settled nerves for coach Kweku Klopp Danso, December’s coach of the month and his charges.

This loss leaves Ignatius Osei Fosu, who was looking to build on the win against King Faisal a week ago at 12th whiles the Hunters move to the summit of the table momentarily awaiting other matches over the weekend.
