GPL Match Preview and Prediction: Liberty Prof vs Inter Allies

Who would have thought that on the back of losing four matches on a trot, Liberty Professionals would pick up all three maximum points away to Ashgold at the Obuasi Ley Clay Stadium, well that was their success story in week thirteen of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

This weekend, they have all opportunity available at their disposal to deepen the woes of struggling opposition, Inter Allies when the pair clashed at Carl Reindhorf Park on Sunday.

Inter Allies have struggled and struggled badly in the ongoing league, their Technical Director, Willie Klutse opined that, the reasons for their failure to do well in the league is attributed to the fact that most of their current crop of players were promoted from the youth setup to the first team.

One thing, I can attribute to the club’s poor performance was the departures of Victorien Adebayor, Samuel Armah(back at the club), Henrikh Lehm, Tonny Lokko as well as other departures that hugely impacted the chances of the club.

Both sides have played twelve (12) times the away side the dominant of the two, winning six (6) games, home winning five (5), and the other ending in a stalemate.

Prediction: Liberty Professionals 2-0 Inter Allies
