GPL Match Preview and Prediction: Hearts of Oak vs Berekum Chelsea

Samuel Boadu’s Hearts of Oak are on some predatory form having won four consecutive matches in their last five games of the ongoing league season looking to devour any prey in their quest to end their decade wait for a league triumph.

The Phobians are beaming with loads of confidence having won their last fixture away to Eleven Wonders at Techiman, a home duel against struggling Berekum Chelsea should present them the onus to stamp their authority at the summit of the table considering Kotoko are traveling away to Aduana Stars.

The morale in the camp of the former continental masters is on a high such that, the likes of Ibrahim Salifu, Victor Aidoo, K.Obeng Junior, Isaac Mensah, Benjamin Afutu, Raddy Ovouka are giving their best shot to ensure they bring smiles back to the faces of the teeming fans, technical team, management and board as a whole.

Berekum based Chelsea on the other hand are not enjoying the best of times in the league, having lost their five games under Seth Hoffman, who has come under intense pressure for failing to lift his setup up the ladder as they lie 13th with 31 points.

The duo has played nine games in the last few seasons each winning four and the other ending in a draw.

The Accra-based side looks unplayable in their last few matches if their form is anything to go by then the away side will have an arduous task breaking them down at the Accra Sports Stadium over the weekend.

Prediction: Hearts of Oak 2-0 Berekum Chelsea
