GPL Match Preview and Prediction: Great Olympics set to slay WAFA

At the Accra Sports Stadium matchday, six of the Ghana Premier League will see Accra Great Olympics at home to WAFA in a top-six classic affair.

The home side have enjoyed a positive start to life, under current head coach, Annor Walker, who masterminded the grand scheme to beat touted favorites for the league, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, which culminated in the sacking of their ex-player and coach Maxwell Konadu.

The Dade boys are currently aiming for a top-five finish by the end of the season, as things stand now,, they occupy the fifth position with 7 points heading into the six-round of game against WAFA.

WAFA on the other hand are still grinding the results both home and away, they seem to overcome their away hoodoo of losing, as they beat Bechem only a few weeks back.

Prosper Narteh’s boys know what’s at stake when they take on Olympics, who have assumed the tag giant slayers, taking four points off Kotoko and Medeama this season.

WAFA have won three of seven games with two going in favor of Olympics the other ending in draws.

    Prediction: Olympics 1-1 WAFA
