GPL Match Preview and Prediction: Asante Kotoko vs Inter Allies

Kumasi Asante Kotoko on the back of drawing regional rivals, AshGold in a heated duel at the Obuasi Sports Stadium will have struggling Inter Allies to deal with in a midweek fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The duo will play each other in week 12 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season, the host are currently 7th placed on the log with 17 points something they will be looking to change considering the number of wholesale changes made to the team prior to the start of the league.

Johnson Smith and his charges will have to up their 7 points they have picked in 5 matches playing at home in the ongoing league against Inter Allies, who have their own demons to fight.

The Capelli boys have struggled immensely in the league, a lot of changes have happened over the last few months and to a significant extent it has affected the chances of the side.

The departure of goal scoring freak Victorian Adebayor, without proper replacement, the sacking of Tonny Lokko, and the relocation of Henrikh Lehm back to Denmark amongst other factors have had an effect on the outlook of the team’s performance.

They currently occupy the 18th spot on the log, 7points, with all their points garnered coming at home none away, which is quite scary considering how things are panning out in the league.

Kotoko look set to roast Inter Allies for diner when the pair clash at the Accra Sports Stadium unless the latter play above their weight at least secure a draw.

    Prediction: Kotoko 2-0 Inter Allies.
