On the back of losing to bitter, Accra Hearts of Oak a fortnight ago at the Accra Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko SC will be looking to make amends when they take on struggling King Faisal over this weekend at the Obuasi Ley Clay Sports Stadium.

Kotoko will eye better results from this duel-hoping table toppers, Hearts of Oak slip, when they play against Ebusua, Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The home side has chalked four victories, drawn once in their last five home games aiding their total points amassed at home to 30 points, conceding nine (9) goals from a total of twenty-one (21) goals that they have scored.

King Faisal haven’t had the best of times in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, they face an imminent exit from the league as they lie 15th on the log with 36 points. The only bright spot to their season has been the prolific, Kwame Preprah, who has bagged twelve (12) goals half of the team’s total goals they have scored in the league.

Since 2006, the pair have clashed fifteen (15) times, Kotoko have won five and drawn six with King Faisal winning the remaining.
