    What a time to be alive. It’s the biggest football showdown between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. 



    The duo are coming into this fixture following weeks of intense warfare at the summit of the table leaving their other competitors to feed on scraps.

    The home side are in scintillating form under the able leadership of  Samuel “Kofi Yesu” Boadu together with his lads they have managed an impressive 4 wins out of five, bar Dreams FC, they have the best home record 36 points an admirable feat considering lots of factors swayed against them earlier in the season.

    The winning buzz in the camp of the Phobians goes without mentioning, Salifu Ibrahim, who has been a cogwheel to the ambitions of the club, as well as Benjamin Afutu-Kotey, Afriyie Barnieh, Addo Sowah, Ovouka shoring up the team in various ways.

    Kotoko, record holders of the league will look to boost their title ambitions but standing in the gap is a lethal Hearts of Oak side, who are hoping to end their decade wait for league trophy, if there’s any respite for the away side it’s their away form that will aid them notching 26 points in as many games.

    This encounter has loads riding on it, hopefully, it lives up to its billing.
