Hearts of Oak and Kotoko played out a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The duel between the two most glamorous clubs in the league drew fans of the respective teams to the match venue for the Super Clash.

Kotoko was more careful in its approach and used the counter-attacks as an alternative to open up the opposition.

Kwame Opoku got an opportunity to put his steam in the lead but the timely intervention of the vibrant Konadu Yiadom nullified the threat.

Hearts of Oak looked the likeliest for the breakthrough as Stephen Appiah Asare’s shot was dealt with by Mohammed Camara in the 47th minute.
Both teams failed to create any meaningful opportunities for a breakthrough in the second half.

Ten minutes to end proceedings, Albert Amoah should have sealed all three points for the Porcupine Warriors but failed to make use of that chance.

The draw leaves the Phobians in 6th position with 46 points as they travel away to the Golden City Park to face Berekum Chelsea.
