GPL Gameweek 11 Review: Olympics stun Hearts, WAFA thrash Liberty

The Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season week eleven didn’t disappoint as it produced lots of interesting twists, turns, and magic moments to cap it off.

Bechem United set the tone for what will be eventually remembered as one of finest weekends when they posted a 3-1 victory over Eleven Wonders at the Nana Fosu Gyeambour park.

Hearts of Oak had to cede the superiority of Accra warlords to their bitter rivals Accra Great Olympics, who have since beaten Kotoko, Inter Allies, Legon Cities.

Elsewhere at the Ohene Ameyaw Park King Faisal recovered from an 18th-minute tsunami down by 3-0 to win by 4-3 after the full throttle of the match.

WAFA made light work of Liberty Professionals at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena thrashing them 5-0, Karela United continued their home dominance notching their 6th win at the CAM Park over Samuel Boadu’s Medeama SC.

There were draws for Kotoko, Aduana Stars as well Elmina Sharks.
