The final rounds of games for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season will be played across the various league venues on June 16, 2024.

This season’s league has once again seen a new winner crowned. From humble beginnings, the based club gained promotion to the league last two seasons after they topped Division One Zone II.

Their success story has gained rare reviews from a host of people who have been impressed by their outing in the top-flight season.

Until the last round of games, Kotoko’s fate hung in the balance but a win away to already embattled Real Tamale United saved them the task of battling relegation in the final round of games in the league.

Four clubs (Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities Great Olympics, Karela United) will have it all to play for in the final game of the season to confirm their elimination or participation for next season.

This year’s league has been nothing short but captivating seeing teams pick up points away from home and others losing at home.

Accra Great Olympics will hope to secure maximum points against Real Tamale United at home to confirm their status for next season anything bar that will see them relegated, which they are all too familiar with in recent times.

How the mighty have fallen will be a curious case study heading into the last round of games, Hearts of Oak will have to play above their normal weight levels as they travel away to play Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Seven points from a possible fifteen in their last five games have seen them battling for survival. A must-win game awaits them this weekend against the Hunters.

Karela United will have it all to do with former Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC in a game that wilds their destiny. Their resurgence for a stay in the league may have come a little late but regardless if they emerge victorious at a ground they are yet to win it will aid their campaign in a world of greatness.
