Heart of Lions defender, Patrick Wilson Mensah is dismayed by the turn of events for his club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

According to defender, Patrick Wilson, they create a host of chances but are unable to convert which is a big headache for the entire playing body and technical team.

Speaking to Saharafootball.net after the game, the defender alluded to their troubles to failure to convert the chances they create in games.

“In yesterday’s game, we played well took control of the game had three clear chances but couldn’t score, they had a chance, scored, and defended until the end.

He highlighted that “this season, goal scoring has been our major problem, we create more but can’t score which is a huge problem for the playing body and technical team, hopefully that changes soon.”

The versatile player can play in full-back roles, as a deep-lying player, and occasionally as a combative midfielder, playing six in fourteen games for his side.

Wilson has been a mainstay with the team helping them through Division One to securing promotion to the league last season after their sixteen years’ hiatus.

The Kpando-based club is languishing at the bottom of the league with eight points from fourteen games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
