GHPL GW3 Preview: Hearts of Oak redemption? Kotoko, Aduana, WAFA to activate winning formulas.

The Ghana Premier League is getting exciting every match weekend, with most of the top sides bossing their authority as need be, this weekend, as usual, there will be a plethora of matches to whet the appetite of football-loving fans across several match venues.

To start with, Former Ghana Premier League Champions, Aduana Stars have made a strong start to the ongoing league by winning their opening two matches so far.

Come this weekend at the infamous Nana Agyemang Badu park, they will lock horns with Alhaji Karim Grunsah’s King Faisal, who have struggled to get results going their way.

Coach Anthony Commey will have to strategize well in order to quench the flames of the Ogya boys.

In other matches, Asante Kotoko have made a dominant display picking all six points at their disposal by beating Eleven Wonders and Legon Cities, this time around they face Berekum Chelsea, who haven’t disappointed as things stand, picking four points from a maximum of six not a bad start for the Blues.

Playing Kotoko will be a real test of their credentials at the Baba Yara Stadium come Sunday.

    Ashantigold

The Obuasi Ley Clay Stadium, home of Ashanti Gold, former GPL winners will face off with a struggling Eleven Wonders setup who are yet to pick a point from their first two fixtures. The miners will fancy picking up all three points when the two sides take to the pitch this weekend.

Elsewhere, Bechem United will look to get one over another struggling side, Accra Great Olympics, the Dade boys have found life back in the GPL rather difficult than they ever anticipated and will have to give off their best if they are to pick a point or even all three against Bechem United.

So far so good, Coach Wilfred Domond will pat his boys on the back having started impressively in their two matches picking all six points.

Dreams FC are one of the well-runned clubs in the country having burst unto the scene some half a decade ago, they will take on a rebranded side in Legon Cities, who have a point from six, will look to scupper plans of their host in recording a perfect record come this weekend.

Elmina Sharks will have another home game to play and this time around it’s against brilliant WAFA, the latter are currently managed by Prosper Nartey, who has inspired his boys to victory in their first two matches.

Down in the capital, Dansoman Liberty Professionals will try and give their fans their first win, drawing all two matches, they take on a buoyant Medeama side who are yet to lose any of their opening fixtures having swept Hearts of Oak aside in their prior match to this duel. The Hearts of Oak fraternity will not be happy with their current situation, losing their first two matches is a serious problem needing immediate solutions, caretaker Nii Odoom will have to turn the fortunes of his side as they battle Ebusua Dwarfs who have a similar story as their host.

At the Akoon Community Park will be home favorite, Karela United, who have somewhat not been able to hit the ground running will need to remedy match results as they face off with Tema based side, Inter Allies.
