    Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, were welcomed with a lot of cheers by excited Ghanaian fans at the Kotoka International Airport on Monday, July 28.



    Against all odds, the female national senior side rose through the ranks to finish third at the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

    BLACK QUEENS ARRIVALS 

     

    This feat was made possible after they posted a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over South Africa.
    A host of supporters thronged the airport to show their appreciation to the ladies for such a gallant display in the just-ended tournament.
