Ghana Premier League clubs permitted to film matches

The Ghana Football Association have finally bowed to pressures for clubs to record Premier League games.

This comes after Kotoko in their league opener against fellow Premier League opponents, Eleven Wonders, were disallowed to film.

This situation didn’t sit too well with the record holders of the Ghana Premier League, who had contracted VEO technologies to undertake videoing, production works of their matches for them this season.

However, in a video call meeting held on Monday by the Association and Chief Executive Officers of Premier League clubs on the way forward with respect to filming league games of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

A conclusion was reached by both parties at the end of the discussion giving the clubs the nod to film the rest of their games.

In a related development, clubs will petition the Association on copies of the contract signed with the Chinese broadcasters, StarTimes.

The Ghana Premier League enters its third week with some interesting fixtures set to role out by the weekend.
