Ghana midfielder Forson Amankwah will leave RB Salzburg in the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old moved to Austria some three seasons ago from Sogakope-based club WAFA SC but failed to establish himself as a starter with the side.

During those three seasons, he was farmed out to Salzburg’s development club, Liefering (loan), and later Rheindorf Altach on loan.

The mercurial midfielder finished the 2023/2024 Austrian Bundesliga campaign with seven-goal contributions in 42 appearances.

Amankwah is said to have attracted firm interest from clubs in England, Germany, France, and Belgium.

It’s unclear which of the listed countries will sway the interest of the Ghanaian international who is valued at 5 million Euros.
