Ghana FA bans Elmina Sharks from Ndoum Stadium

The GFA Executive Council have taken a unanimous decision to temporarily ban Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks from playing at the Nduom Sports Stadium until further notice.

This decision comes on the heels of fans (barred from stadium usage as a result of a spike in Covid-19 cases) attacking centre referee, Eric Owusu Bempah for instigating their 2-1 home defeat to Medeama SC at the Ndoum Sports Stadium on Sunday in week 15 of the Ghana Premier League.

It remains to be seen if the Elmina-based side will appeal the decision of the Executive Council at the Disciplinary level.

Elmina Sharks will honor their mid-week clash against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium in mid-week.
