Ghana’s Black Queens made light work of Guinea in the second leg of the first-round qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

On Friday, the Queens won the first leg of the qualifiers with a thumping win over their West African opponents away in Conakry.

Before the game, Nora Häuptle made one change to her squad, Captain Portia Boakye was restored to the starting lineup partnering Janet Egyir in central defense whiles Susan Duah and Adama Alhassan took up their positions on the laterals.

Other players that made the starting lineup were, Cynthia Konlan Findiib, Grace Asantewaa, Evelyn Badu Jennifer Cudjoe, Doris Boaduwaa, and others.

The host began the game on the ascendency and it was no fluke that a brace from Evelyn Badu and a goal each from Priscilla Adubea, and Fidous Yakubu saw the host win the game over the two legs by a seven-goals margin.

The win sees the Black Queens await the winner of the match between Rwanda and Uganda in the second-round qualifiers.
