Hearts of Oak put Heart of Lions to the sword in the second game of the ongoing  2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Legon.

The win follows a 2-0 triumph for the Phobians on Sunday night at the Accra Sports Stadium, which earned them the 2025 Homowo Cup.

Both coaches shuffled their personnel for the game, with the goalkeeper and captain, Benjamin Asare, and Kelvin Osei Asibey, as well as Hamzah Issah and other regular starters, left on the bench.

Ransford Mensah’s free kick deflected before halftime, providing the match-winner between the two sides at the end of the game proceedings.
