Paul Atta Agyei’s first-half strike was enough for Hearts of Lions to beat Kotoko in the second game of the ongoing 2025 GHALCA Top 4 Tournament.

Both teams lost their opening games to Hearts of Oak and GoldStars, respectively, and needed to make a huge statement in their second game of the ongoing competition.

Coach Bashir Hayford made two changes to the starting lineup, bringing in Ishmael Addo and Kwesi Pong for Acquag and Quansah.
Similarly, Karm Zito changed the entire personnel of the game against GoldStars. He handed Aziz Dari a starting berth in the post, Philip Amoah, Zakaria Fuseini, Joseph Amoah, Seth Kwadwo, Johnson Owusu, and Samuel Tenedu.

Both teams gave the fans their money’s worth, with the Porcupine Warriors coming close on several occasions to the opener.
Paul Atta Agyei was on hand to smash in the opener after goalkeeper Aziz Dari failed to deal with a harmless corner kick from the right side of defence for the game’s opener and only goal.
