Ghana Football Association has denied reports of holding a by-election to replace Gifty Oware-Mensah.

This week media reports went rife that the co-owner of Berry Ladies Football Club has not been present at Executive Committee meetings since the turn of the new year.

Her absence from ExCo meetings prompted suggestions that she is not around and that a new member would have to take up her seat on the Committee.

Saharafootball.net has learned that the news of her replacement is untrue as she was involved in meetings held by the Executive Council meeting last week.

Oware-Mensah gained a seat on the ExCo through the Women’s Premier League clubs.
