    President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku is eyeing success with the Black Stars win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

    The Black Stars have struggled to make a mark in their last two editions, 2021 and 2023 and sadly failed to qualify for the Morocco,2025 which left many disappointed.

    Speaking in a recent interview with Asaase Radio, he intimated that the senior national team will win the AFCON soon.

    “I want to win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), and that is the fact. Only God knows the number of times we have tried, and we have not been able to win the AFCON title,”

    Ghana’s last AFCON success came in 1982, post that they have been to  three finals in 1992, 2010 and 2015 and picked silver medals.
