Mr. Kurt Okraku, president of the Ghana Football Association, was re-elected as president of the West African Football Union’s Zone B. (WAFU).

The Ghana FA president was re-elected by acclamation during the electoral congress held in Cote d’Ivoire. The election was part of the agenda for the 15th General Assembly of WAFU Zone B, which took place in Abidjan on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

No one filed a challenge to Mr. Okraku’s seat, which he has held since May 2021, when he replaced Djibrilla Hima Hamidou, who resigned. Mr. Okraku has been given a second four-year term to continue serving the West African sub-regional body.
