George Afriyie has filed his nomination to contest for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) president seat occupied by Kurt Okraku.

Afriyie vied for the presidential seat four years ago but lost to Kurt Okraku.

GFA President Kurt Okraku files nomination ahead of September elections

This afternoon at the GFA secretariat, the former GFA vice president filed his nomination in the company of his well-wishers and sympathizers who came in their numbers to support their Presidential candidate.

Afriyie will be hoping to win the GFA Presidential elections.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congress will be held on September 27 at the Redaach Memorial Hotel in Tamale.
