Bibiani GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso was extremely excited after guiding the team to its maiden Ghana Premier League title.
GoldStars nicked the title on the final day after going head-to-head with Nations FC, who surprisingly lost their last game at home to fellow competitors Hearts of Lions at the Abrankese.
GoldStars made light work of the already relegated side, Accra Lions at Duns Park with an impressive 4-0.
Frimpong Manso was full of praise for the team and the fans in his post-game interview with reporters.
“I am very happy because when you look at Bibiani and its environment, this is the first time they are seeing a League trophy,” he said.
“I’m proud to be part of this team. I’m also very happy for the people of Bibiani — they’ve done a lot of work. Everywhere we go, they go with us. We see them at home, too. I am very happy for them.”
GoldStars will savor the moment in glory after they basked in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League.
