The Black Queens were first to draw blood after Sherifatu Sumaila’s nicely taken goal in the 18th minute set the tone for the game.

Chantelle Hlorgah added the second in the 41st minute, but there was late drama as the opponents managed to halve the deficit to end the first half, 2-1.
After the break, the Black Queens extended their lead after the Ivorian side failed to clear their lines in the 51st minute.

Despite losing by a two-goal margin, the host team recovered strongly, managing to secure goals in the 70th and 80th minutes to end the game 3-3.
