Otto and his charges will have to do it the hard way as they play Mali in Accra. The notable absence of Villarreal midfielder Thomas Partey will come as a huge blow as he races against sickness to make the starting berth. Elisha Owusu is out on suspension due to accumulated yellow cards, while Ibrahim Sulemana is out following a brief sickness.

The technical team gave Kwesi Sibo a late call-up. He has trained and familiarized himself with the team as things stand, hoping to make his debut in front of the teaming football

For Mali, it’s a big opportunity to silence the home fans and give them a glimmer of hope of securing qualification for the World Cup.
