    In the battle of the Yellows, German side, Borussia Dortmund got the better of the exchanges against South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in Cincinnati.



    Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro set the tone for the game with a long bursting run through midfield to score the game’s first in the 11th minute.

    Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha swiftly equalized five minutes later, setting the stage for what would be a thrilling spectacle.
    The German side got their noses in front through Guinea forward, Serhou Guirassy’s on the 34-minute mark, followed by a jubilant Jobe Bellingham aiding them to a 3-1 lead.

    Dortmund will cushion their superiority in the game as they capitalized on an own goal from Sundowns to stretch the lead 4-1.

    That managed to wake, Sundowns, who refuse to lie low striking back through Iqraam Rayners, Lebo Mothiba to reduce the deficit to 4-3.
