AS youngster Felix Afena-Gyan is in line to be farmed out to fellow Serie A side Lecce for the upcoming season.

The ambitious player who found a home in Rome after hugely impressing his suitors on trials was promoted through the ranks to the first team where he showed a glimpse of his abilities.

The 19-year in his debut season in the Serie-A scored two in 17 appearances.

It’s said that Roma boss, Jose Mourinho, and his technical team deemed Lecce as an ideal fit for the young man to gain invaluable experience and sharpen him up for the long term.

Afena-Gyan has a handful of national team exposure has he was prominent in Ghana’s lead-up to Qatar, 2022.
