    FC Zurich and  Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh have mutually agreed to a contract termination. 

     



    Barnieh joined the Swiss club in January 2023 from Hearts of Oak, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal.

    The 24-year-old has since featured in 50 competitive matches for the Swiss side, scoring two goals and registering four assists.

    Since his signing three seasons ago, the Ghanaian has struggled to nail a starting spot.

    It’s unclear which options the player and his management would consider in the off season.
