Exclusive: Maxwell Abbey-Quaye responds to reports on Hearts of Oak move

Ghanaian forward Maxwell Abbey-Quaye has debunked circling stories making rounds in the Ghana Premier League that he has joined Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of the new season.



On the eve of the transfer window varied portals in the Ghanaian media landscape reported the deal of him joining the MTN FA Cup Champions.

In a recent exclusive interview with Saharafootball.net, Abbey Quaye admonished everyone to treat his purported move to Accra Hearts of Oak as rumors.

“It’s rumors, it’s all rumors, I haven’t joined Accra Hearts of Oak like people are saying, my focus now is the national assignment for now”.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old and his camp failed to agree on a contract with Great Olympics hence he will be able to join any club of his join.

Abbey Quaye is currently in camp with the Black Galaxies in Cape Coast as they prepare for the doubleheader against Nigeria.
