Epiphany Next Gen and Cabfix Ladies will battle for the ultimate prize in the maiden Greater Accra Regional Football Association (RFA) U15 Girls Colts League final after both sides emerged as the strongest teams from their respective groups.
The much-anticipated final is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kick-off set for 8:00am.
Epiphany Next Gen head into the final as the only side with a perfect record in the competition, winning all six of their matches in Group A to finish with 18 points. Their impressive campaign began with a 2-0 victory over Accra Ladyz on Matchday One before defeating Ridge City Women 3-1 on Matchday Two.
They continued their dominance with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ideal Ladies on Matchday Three and followed it with another narrow 1-0 victory against Accra Ladyz on Matchday Four. On Matchday Five, Epiphany were awarded three goals and three points after Ridge City failed to honour the fixture before wrapping up the group stage with a 1-0 triumph over Ideal Ladies on the final day.
Cabfix Ladies, meanwhile, topped Group B with 16 points after an impressive campaign filled with goals and entertaining performances. They announced themselves in emphatic fashion with a 9-0 demolition of Ga West Ladies on Matchday One before thrashing Rock Ladies 7-1 in their second outing.
The side followed that with a 3-1 victory over Dangme South on Matchday Three and produced the biggest scoreline of the competition once again on Matchday Four, hammering Ga West Ladies 9-0. Cabfix then defeated Rock Ladies 4-0 on Matchday Five before their perfect run came to an end following a 1-1 draw against Dangme South on the final matchday.
One of the standout stories of Cabfix Ladies’ campaign has been captain Jessica Benni, who remains the competition’s top scorer with 12 goals. The talented forward returned from international duty with Ghana’s Black Damsels after helping the national side successfully defend the CAF African Schools Football Championship title in Zimbabwe.
On her return during Matchday Five, Benni received a guard of honour from her teammates before going on to provide an assist in Cabfix Ladies’ 4-0 victory over Rock Ladies.
Both finalists have demonstrated attacking quality, discipline, and consistency throughout the tournament, setting up what promises to be an exciting encounter between two of the competition’s best-performing sides.
The U15 Girls Colts League forms part of broader FIFA-supported grassroots football development initiatives aimed at creating structured pathways for young girls to develop within the sport and progress to higher levels of football.
