Ghanaian midfielder, Emmanuel Lomotey has moved to Cypriot top-tier outfit Ethnikos Achna FC on loan from Swedish club, Malmo FF.

The 25-year-old joined Malmo FF with the hope of securing first-team football but his career was blighted by a series of injuries which limited his playing time with the Swedish side in the Allsvenskan league.

Since switching Amiens for Malmo, he made only seven appearances with the club across all competitions, which has promoted the two parties to agree on a loan move to help the defensive midfielder regain his fitness and confidence.

The former BlackStars player will hope to his loan moves provides him the right opportunity back to his parent club.

Lomotey since moving to Europe from Ghana Premier League club, Dreams FC has played for sides like Extremadura UD and Villarreal CF B, Amiens, Malmo, and now a loan move to Ethnikos Achna, Cyprus.
