Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey played out the full throttle of his side’s 2-1  away loss to Auxerre SC at the Stade de l’ Abbé- Deschamps Stadium on Saturday night.

Amiens were looking to recover from their home loss they suffered at the hands of Paris FC, a fortnight ago in their own backyard.

The host, Auxerre, who were on the lookout to continue their impressive run in the league got themselves ahead through, Gauthier Hem in the 33rd minute aiding them to go into the first half of the game with that solitary lead.

After recess, Amiens created a few chances through, Arkodare, Badji, and Sangare only to be pegged by Gaeten Charbomer in the 63rd minute to take the scoreline to 2-0 in favor of the home side.

Lomotey’s side were rewarded for their relentless effort through a Mustapha Sangare goal in the 82nd minute but it came a little too late as the home side held to their slender lead to win 2-1 at home taking them to 3rd on the log with 74 points.

Lomotey has featured in 28 separate outings for Amiens this season and his yet to hit the back of the net.
