    Emmanuel Gyasi signs contract extension with Spezia

    Ghana and Spezia striker, Emmanuel Gyasi, has been rewarded with a three-year contract extension by Italian-based Spezia Calcio.



    The new deal which reflects, Gyasi’s ability and contribution to the club in the last few months is bound to end in June 30, 2025.

    A joyous Gyasi who couldn’t hide his emotions following the bumper deal thanked his paymasters and promised to diligently help in achieving the club’s objectives.

    “I am very happy to have signed this renewal. Now maximum concentration to achieve salvation. I thank the club for the trust placed in me and as always I will do everything to repay it on the field,” he ended.



    The President, Philip Platek also shared his admiration for the lad:    “Emmanuel Gyasi is a symbol of this team, he is an example to follow for all young people. Abnegation, commitment, seriousness, combined with undisputed athletic and technical skills, are just some of his qualities and we are proud to be able to announce today his renewal of him”.

    Gyasi has risen through the ranks of Italian football following his debut for for Pisa in Serie C against Savona and playing for the likes of  Mantova, Carrarese all on loan.

    He has featured in  128 outings for his club scoring 20 goals.
