    Edmund Ackah leaves Kotoko on ice

    Ghanaian football administrator, Edmund Ackah has resigned from his position as the Greater Accra Representative for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.




    Ackah has a world depth of enviable depth of experience on the local football scene. He had been serving in that position under Chairman Kyei at the club since August 2018.

    In his recent interview on radio with Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, he asserted his decision as personal oriented.

    “It’s true that I have resigned as a member of the current management of Asante Kotoko”

    “I can’t work with them again but still a supporter of the club. I tendered my resignation today.”

    Other quarters also say that, the current chairman’s recent outburst may not have gone down well with how Mr.Ackah wants the club to be administered and that in addition to other reasons culminated in his resignation.

    The popular administrator may be out of job for now but his services will come handy owing to his invaluable experience on the local scene. Having worked with Medeama SC some half a decade ago before crossing carpets to join the Porcupine Warriors as Accra’s Rep.
