    Its a dream come true – Richard Ofori on move to Orlando Pirates

    Ghana Black Stars shot-stopper Richard Ofori has finally made his long-awaited switch from Maritzburg United to Orlando Pirates.




    The new deal comes off after the 26-year-old impressed with his former side, he has since penned a three-year deal with the South Africa giants, Orlando Pirates.

    The South African club released a statement confirming the new three-year deal.

    “The 26-year-old has signed with the Buccaneers after agreeing terms to a three a year deal,” the club statement said.

    Richard Ofori, who couldn’t hide his excitement at signing with his new club revealed that it was a dream come through to get the rare privilege of playing with the side.

    He further heaped praise on his new club saying they were one of the biggest franchises on African continent in an interview with the club’s YouTube channel.

    “It feels so good, Pirates are one of the biggest teams in the world so to sign with them I feel very excited.

    “It’s like a dream come true because every player wants to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. So I feel happy and I feel at home.”
