    Ghana Division One Football club, Home Star FC, has brokered a deal with leading sports betting company, Mybet.Africa in Accra, Ghana.

     



    In a very colorful ceremony that was held today, April 8, 2024, at the headquarters of the betting company at Palace Mall to announce the groundbreaking deal, it drew lots of patrons from the betting company, the Ho-based club, and other vested parties.

    Disclosing the reason for sponsoring, the Ho-based club, the General Manager of Mybet.Africa, Mr. James Pobee underscored the need to diversify their brand and help grow football at the grassroots and community level. 

    “We are thrilled to embark on this journey with Home Star FC,” Mr. James Pobee, General Manager of Mybet.Africa. “For nearly a decade, Mybet.Africa has been a proud supporter of Ghanaian football, and we are excited to expand our reach to the Division One level. This partnership underscores our belief in the power of football to unite communities and drive positive change.” he ended.

    Mr. Emil Atando Jnr, Administrator, Brands and Marketing of Home Star FC, expressed undying appreciation to their new sponsors, “We are honored to have Mybet. Africa is on board as our official sponsor. This partnership will not only provide crucial financial support but also invaluable expertise and resources that will help propel our club forward.” he ended.

    The sponsorship deal was signed by Mr. James Pobee and Mr. Emil Atando Jnr for and on behalf of Mybet.Africa and Home Star FC respectively and witnessed by Anita Pappoe, Acting Brands and Marketing Manager, Mybet.Africa and Jonathan Segbefia, Greater Accra Rep, Home Star FC. 

     Home Star FC, sixth on the log in the ongoing Volta Regional Football Association’s Division One League will hope to utilize the full benefits from this new sponsorship with Mybet.Africa
