Desmond Offei promoted as head coach of Ghana U20 coach



The Ghana Football Association has elevated Desmond Offei to the role of head coach for the Black Satellites, the national under-20 soccer team.

Desmond Offei, a 35-year-old Professional Football Coach holding a UEFA A (Level 4) License, brings a wealth of coaching expertise to his new position.

Offei has previously held roles as the U-18 Head Coach and U-21 coach at Royal Antwerp FC, as well as serving as the Head Coach for Lokeren U-21 and Lusitano SAD.

Currently, he is employed at the Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association, where he has been in charge of high-performance coaching.

In the past 9 months, Desmond Offei has worked as an assistant coach alongside former coach Samuel Boadu and has also gained coaching and scouting experience in several countries, including Belgium, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.

Desmond Offei will be supported by a coaching team that includes former Ghanaian football legend Nii Ordartey Lamptey and Salifu Fatawu, the coach of Heart of Lions.
